I was overly confident that Big Daddy and I had overpowered the evil blog virus with our html code super powers.

I guess our epic quest was meant to have a sequel. The rogue code came back. Bigger, bader, and bolder than ever.

Just as I was about to lose all hope that good would over come evil, Big Daddy had an idea.

It was risky. It was radical. But it was our only option.

We deleted everything. Started from scratch. Some of you, who are smart enough to stay away from having your own website, can sleep easy in your ignorance. But it has been a nail biter of a week for me.

If you spent any time on my site over the last few days you probably noticed it changing constantly. That’s because I don’t believe in dressing rooms I guess. I’m more of a “try it on over your pants” kinda girl.

Colors, fonts, line heights, navigation menus, footer, headers, widgets. All of this had to be customized. And I don’t mean using a drop down menu to make my changes. I mean code. And I’m no coder.

All is well with my blog. Actually, it’s faster then ever. Now, if I can just get my eye to stop twitching…

Here’s hoping this sequel does not become a trilogy.

In other news…

Big Daddy planned a wonderful day for us at the Georgia Aquarium. This place is amazing! The Georgia Aquarium is the world’s largest aquarium with more than 8.5 million gallons of marine and freshwater, housing 120,000 animals in 500 species! Pretty awesome to have a quaint aquarium in my back yard.

Aside from all the fancy statisics, I also found out that the co-founder of Home Depot, Bernie Marcus, donated $250 million dollars of his own money to the project because he wanted regular people to see the amazing marine life most would never have an opportunity to see. Now, that’s what I call investing in your community.

Just when you thought you didn’t need another reason to love The Home Depot.

We also went to a special “broadway show” called Dolphin Tales. I loved the dolphin show so much it brought me to tears. Hormones, anyone? And we walked through the underwater adventure via a huge tunnel built in a massive fish tank. Kinda feels like you’re in the fish bowl and the shark, stingray, and other friends are all watching you. I couldn’t help but look for cracks…you know, just in case.

Here are some photos for you to enjoy. I wish the photos of the Beluga Whales turned out better and of course any photography was strictly forbidden during the dolphin show but I did manage to snap a couple of cool pics.

Whoa. While in the tunnel looking for cracks in the glass, a ginormous shadow from a sting ray gets my attention.

Jellyfish. I wouldn’t want to run into these guys in a dark alley. This beauty shown above can kill you while the Jelly below glows in the dark. Pretty cool.

Needless to say, my fall mantle isn’t finished yet. I’ll be working on that today. Fall will be over by the time I finish this thing.

Question: Have you ever been stung by a Jelly fish? What does that feel like?

My husband got stung by a jellyfish 2 years ago…he cried like a baby. I offered to pee on it. It was a no go. He survived though 🙂
