I just want to talk to you today. No projects and no how-to tutorials. Many of you know me only as Let’s Get Crafty! but up until recently I was incredibly busy speaking around the world and running my non-profit organization, Women Stand Up! International.

I want to be clear up front. I haven’t quit my organization. But I have been on a sabbatical of sorts. After a slew of disappointments, set backs, and personal heart break, I knew I needed to set it aside. I wasn’t sure for how long and actually I’m still not sure.

I started Let’s Get Crafty on accident. I started it because I needed a place to heal. A part of me wants to go into detail out of respect for you who are faithful readers but the other part of me thinks I’m just not ready to “talk”.

I just want to thank those of you who are out there reading, skimming, or photo peeking on my site. It’s always great to read your comments!

I want to get back to Women Stand Up! so badly. I miss the women of Kenya and Uganda. I miss making a difference. I’ve had an incredible ride in this life and I’m truly expecting the ride to continue to thrill.

Today, I wanted to share something with you. Something I wrote for the women of my non-profit as a way to find our identity in a world that has a tendency to objectify women. And I wanted to remind women that they are, in fact, enough. I wanted to remind myself that I am enough, regardless of what I’ve done or what has been done to me.

And although “The Woman’s Creed” is meant to speak to any woman regardless of her spiritual beliefs, I wrote it with my belief in God in mind.

Many people aren’t aware that “I AM” is referenced in the Holy Bible as another name for God. So I AM ENOUGH, at least to me, means that I am enough because God made me. And because He’s enough for me to be happy. But that’s just me. I think you can read it and make it your own. And that’s what I want you to do.

We all need to heal sometimes.

I felt like I needed to be reminded of what I believe. So this is for you ladies. And for me.

Question: Do you believe you are enough?
