Have you ever had an oh-so-amazing idea of something in your mind and you felt like you couldn’t think about starting another project until the previous one was birthed, thrown up, or just materialized?

That’s how I have felt for about 4 months now. And today I’m finally ready to show off my ULTIMATE BLOG PLANNER.

Ultimate Blog Planner

I want to begin by acknowledging that many of my readers are not bloggers and I want you to know that this post is for the blogger, HOWEVER, I hope that you’ll check it out because there is still a DIY gem within!

You may remember my first free printable I whipped up called Blogger Be Better, shortly after I started this blog to organize my mental chaos. I think I used it for a minute and I quickly realized that it wasn’t meeting all of my needs. So that’s when I started to look around for something that does.

There weren’t many options, especially for someone like me that doesn’t like to use small boxes or too-small lined to-do lists. I know my eyes just can’t take those kind of planners.

After looking at many options, I decided to create my own design that I thought would work best for me and my blog and where I’m at on this blog journey.

This is my digital art masterpiece and it’s now available in my NEW Etsy shop! Gah! I can’t believe I have an Etsy shop! The name of the shop (in case you want to favorite it) is called GetCrafty4aCause.

The shop will be stocking digital art and some vintage items that can be used in your home decor. The idea is to have a percentage of each sale go to Women Stand Up! International to help women in Kenya through their personal crisis. There is so much we can do to eradicate problems such as poor nutrition, lack of shelter, and the lack of proper medication and education. These ladies are truly special and want exactly what women of other countries want; to be happy and healthy and to give their children a better life. So let’s do that!

Without further ado let me show you some pics of the Ultimate Blog Planner!

This planner has note pages, a 2-page full week spread, plus a 2-page full month overview each month! The special part (in my humble opinion) is that each page has a vintage, steampunk, or pop art type graphic with a caption. The caption is meant to inspire you, motivate you, and make you laugh. I think it does just that.

The teal blue heavy duty plastic cover you see is actually a placemat.  Yep, hard to believe huh?!  I searched high and low for a flexible yet durable cover for my planner without success until genius struck me.

If you end up buying the digital download and print out your planner at home you can use my trick to create your own cover! I just laid my paper on top of my placemat and cut the size I wanted using a paper cutter. Easy! No more flimsy plastic film covers that you’ll get when you go to Office Depot type stores!

Aimee, I still consider myself a newbie too but so far so good with this planner! Honestly I’m actually using it and I’m staying on track! No small miracle! I’ve also started using a sketch book to draw out some of my ideas which is really helping…especially if the project involves me asking Big Daddy for help! The visual for him is key! LOL

I know how it is….I told myself for the longest time that I would just remember…uh, not so much! Now I’m using a sketch pad too which helps me plan out what I want the project to look like!

Christine, that’s absolutely awesome! I’m so impressed. I will definitely check out your Etsy shop. By the way, my niece visited Kenya last summer and she says she will be forever changed by the experience. She fell in love with the people of Kenya.

Thanks Cindy! Kenya was a life changer….it’s hard to explain how different you feel when you return home to the US….but I love that I have a connection with such wonderful women over there. That experience is one of the reasons for starting this blog…the women here are amazing!
