Well guys, it’s been a chaotic week here. Big Daddy and I are working, working, working long into the night to get the trim up on the booth. There is quite a bit more left to do with trim but I think it’s really starting to look like it does in my head. Big Daddy deserves MEGA kuddos for being awesome, precise, and just all around smarter than me when it comes to building.

You might be able to tell that my booth looks pretty empty. And you’d be right. I was selling and selling but I haven’t really been shopping or painting. I’ve tried my very best to get DIH University out this week but it just didn’t happen. And now I can’t avoid the unavoidable any longer, at least not if I want to pay my booth rent. I must paint and restock the booth pronto! So, DIH is on hold and I’ve been refocusing my efforts on the booth.

Everything is colliding in the next couple of weeks. Here’s hoping I can get enough done!

Oh P.S. What do you think of my color choice for the booth? I think Big Daddy and I are leaning towards the lighter blue on the left.

Hey Y’all!

I am so excited to share with you this week. I love getting to browse through all of the entries that come our way with this party. I hope you are enjoying getting to know other bloggers out there. These people are creative and busy!

I’ve been having the time of my life with our company. Yesterday I said bye to the last of them. It was sad, I hate good-byes. But we will get together again soon–they can’t get rid of us that easily!

Here at the manor, I’ve not been up to much (other than visiting and hanging out and visiting some more). But I did get my front porch jazzed up a little. Now, in all honesty, since these pictures have been taken one of these mums has perished. I continue to water it, but it’s not looking good. My thumb is a horrid shade of black. This house is where plants come to die, bless their hearts. That is why I have learned to take pictures right after putting flowers out. 😉

Anyway, I’m not here to talk about my dead plants. I’m here to host this week’s party. Here are the features from last week. Be sure to check them all out and give these ladies some applause.

Robin from Happy at Home made this barn door to hang on her wall. I’ve already let her know that this is going to be one of my upcoming projects. Check it out, it looks like a project I could handle!

Kristi from Making it in the Mountains refinished this desk that belonged to her husband’s grandfather. I adore this makeover. From the paint, to the knobs/pulls to the paper in the drawers. It is perfection!

And last but not least, our very own Gloria from Potentially Chic has started a new blog so that we can follow her new home transformations. I cannot wait to see what all she does to this beautiful tudor home. Check out Tudor Lane and be sure to follow along and see what all she does around there!
