The kitchen updates continue with my pantry cabinet space. It’s such an amazing improvement to what we had at the condo because we didn’t have any space! This update was very simple even though I was terrified of using contact paper.

I guess I had visions of uncontrollable frustration as I attempted to make the paper stick to the places I wanted rather than my clothes, hair, and hands. Anyone feel me on this?

But I found out my fears were baseless. The contact paper can get pretty sticky but I was able to tame the beast and come up with a cute and colorful surprise each time Big Daddy and I go to the pantry for our cookies. 😉

Oh. my. gosh. isn’t Baby Sofie cute? You guys have no idea the emotional rollercoaster we’ve been on for the last 4-5 months. Sofie decided to stop eating and she was at deaths door. Literally. We hooked her up to an IV everyday and yet she wasn’t getting better. In fact, she was perfecting the projectile vomit and making it into an Olympic sport.

I’m happy to report that Sofia is getting her groove back as evident by her presence in my photos once again.

I bought both the chevron and the geometric patterned contact paper from Marshall’s and TJ Maxx. I believe they cost $5.99 for a 2 pack.

I still need to get some bins and such but you know all that organization is expensive. In time ladies. 🙂

So, anyone fear using contact paper without a sedative?

Your pantry looks great! Someday I will have a nice big walk in pantry, when we get to it on our remodeling list. In the meantime, my pantry is in the basement…I get lots of exercise!

Thank you for sharing it at to What We Accomplished Wednesdays. Have a lovely week!

I love the idea of colorful surprises when you open pantries and cupboards. It’s like a treat just for you…no one else will enjoy it quite like you will. Like a little scoop of ice cream all by yourself on a Saturday afternoon. And yes, contact paper scares me a bit too. I love what you are doing here…Lynaea @ EveryDayBloom.com
