I’m so relieved.  My guilty conscience is no more. 2014 is gonna be my year!

Big Daddy and I have been married 6 years and in that time I’ve sent out maybe 5 birthday cards to family in-law.

Hanging head down in shame.

I cannot tell you how awful it feels to know you’re just not cutting it. But I wanted to do something about it and I’m finally doing it!

I contacted the matriarch of my family in-law and she gave me the low down on all important dates. I was now armed with my new fate and possibly new favor from my family in-law but I needed a really cute and quick way to make it happen.

Ok, so my free printable obsession continues on into the new year but it’s good for me, I swear, and good for you!

I used some white card stock I had on hand and hit print. I cut them out using my big ol’ paper cutter and clipped them with a magnetic clip so that they can hang either on my fridge or magnetic calendar that hangs on the inside door of my computer cabinet seen in this post.

You should check My Pretty Blog’s other birthday calendar printables too. I love this style because at the top of each month it tells me the birthstone, flower and a small paragraph with the month’s meaning.

And just for fun let’s look at January. Cause my birthday is January 26th!

Here’s what it says:

January (in Latin, Ianuarius) is names after Janus, the god of the doorway.  The name has its beginnings in Roman mythology, coming from the Latin word for door (ianua) since January is the door to the year.

Birthstone is the garnet, which represents constancy

Birth flower is the pink dianthus caryophyllus or galathus

What the heck is a pink dianthus caryophyllus?

Oh, I just Googled it. It’s a carnation.
