My brain is about to explode. Yup. Just like that. I’m bursting with ideas and plans and projects that I can’t wait to tell you all about but before I can I need to just slow it down and say a few things first.

So first.

Thank you. Seriously, I cried and smiled each time I read one of your comments. Thank you all for treating my baby with so much respect.

We brought her ashes home a week later and I was kinda in my former hysteric state all over again. More time does make it better. I just wanted my grief to be fast forwarded until I could think about my sweet kitty without all the crying. You know? I still miss her and I still expect her to be where she always was. So that kind of sucks.

But it’s better. And you helped make it better. Thank you.

I’m moving my antique booth, The Hunter’s Alley, in just one week! I have tons to report here including pictures and building schematics that Big Daddy drew up.

_______

Big Daddy is now on Pinterest. Yeah you read that right. Follow him here. He goes by Big.

_______

Big Daddy is getting down with his crafty self. And I can’t wait to see how it turns out! He also made his first CraigsList purchase. Good times. I’ll be sure to share that eventful day too.

We hung out on V-day at the ballet and watched a pretty cool production of Romeo & Juliet. This week we’ll be heading to the Fox Theater for some Wicked action. I can’t wait to see it again.

_______

Last week we nearly froze in our own home when our power was knocked out for a few days thanks to a ton of ice. The worst part was sitting in the dark and hearing the cracking sounds trees make when they are about to go all “Tiiiiimmmmbbbberrr” on you. We actually moved to the front side of the house. It was crack-a-lacking all around us and I just couldn’t sleep knowing I might wake up to a mouth full of leaves or something.

I was so incredibly grateful to leave the 50 degree indoor temps for a warm bed and a super hot shower at a hotel. Ahhhh so grateful for that!

As long as we’re on the topic of weather…it’s actually snowing here in the north end of ATL. We’re accumulating some of that white powder too. And while it’s a tad exciting for us southerns to wake up to snow, I realize the majority of the country has been tortured by it for the last several weeks.

_______

That’s it in a nutshell. I’ll be back to the blog again tomorrow for some cool drawings of my new booth!
