Hello! I’ve been quiet this week because I feel like I’m still recovering from the weekend. Can I get an Amen?!

Big Daddy’s youngest boy, Drew, graduated from high school last Friday and we couldn’t be happier for him. It’s such an exciting time in his life. Do you remember graduating? Do you remember finding your roommates and moving day at your college?

I sure do. College was fun, obviously. But it was so much more than that. You find yourself, you lose yourself. You succeed. You fail. You make good decisions and bad decisions.

The world is just waiting to see what you’re going to do. I love the feeling of “what could be”. It’s such a hopeful feeling.

Big Daddy and I wanted to celebrate our graduate with a memory book. It was our way of not only celebrating his accomplishments but also as a reminder of all the wonderful family memories.

I know he appreciated it. But I also know that as time marches on and these childhood years slip farther away, he’ll be glad that he has his memory book to look at.

I wanted to share some pics I took of the scrapbook. Sorry about the quality. I had already wrapped the present and we were driving in the car to meet him for lunch when I realized I forgot to take pics of his scrapbook.

I’m not really a scrapbook person so I consider this my first full scrapbook and I have to admit I’m pretty proud of it. I spent many, many hours trying to create the best book for our Buddy. He’s been such a great step-son to have and I’m so thankful for him. Seriously guys, he has such a sweet heart.

Enjoy the pics!

Big Daddy and I had such a great time putting this together! I left some pages empty like the graduation page so he can put his classmates’ pics in there.

Big Daddy also wrote a letter to Drew (not pictured) that was so special.

It was an emotional drive home but I can tell you that our hearts are happy.

What did you guys get into last weekend? Anyone else have a graduate?

I can’t believe how long it has been since we walked across that graduation stage and then embarked on our college adventure! Such a great gift for the graduate – he will truly appreciate that! Nice job!
