Contrary to the lack of FabFindsFriday posts, I have not lost my bloodhound like abilities for sniffing out a deal.

In fact, on a recent trip to Goodwill with Big Daddy I spotted a headboard and matching mirror from across the crowded aisle (can’t you just hear Journey playing in the background?).

Just like this here pointing dog, I pointed all the way to the headboard mirror combo. Big Daddy saw me standing proudly next to some furniture with a sneaky look on my face.

Me: “Guess how much?”

BD: “I don’t know.”

Me: “$18.81”

BD: “For which one?”

Me: “Both!”

Boo Yah.

The bad news? I have no where to put it. It’s a king size headboard but we already have one. I thought about workin’ some paint magic and trying to sell it on CL. Maybe. But recently I’ve been thinking about making the headboard into a killer bench. It could be interesting. Or a total fail. Either way I’ll blog about it.
